Part 1: Introduction

Dr Kringle, one of the greatest inventors in the universe, has created his most powerful invention ever: the Gift (which allows its user to travel anywhere in the universe instantly). Princess Robina helped him escape from the Shadowscythe on Planet Otan and sent them on a wild goose chase through an asteroid belt while Kringle fled to Planet Thoh. Robina then disappeared. The Shadowscythe are obsessed with finding Kringle and capturing the Gift, and have sent General Shadow Claws to find them. Probes have traced Dr Kringle to Planet Thoh. Part 2: Fight the Shadowscythe

Queenadent Odessa and Sys-Zero are leading the forces against the Shadowscythe. A strange signal has been detected outside the town of Frostvale and they need you to investigate. You find a solitary Shadow Probe. Shadow Claws and his Frostscythe army are moving in the area.

A battlefield has formed outside the town. You're outnumbered, but Odessa has faith that you can defeat 10 Shadowscythe (you can repair your mecha up to five times during the battle). Watch out for the Ice Manta - they have a powerful freeze attack.

Lucas Landrunner, one of Odessa's soldiers has been captured by the Shadowscythe. He was last seen near an icy cave. Defeat 3 mecha to reach a repair station within the cave. Defeat an abominable creature to rescue Lucas (by the way, he thinks he has can move rocks with his mind, except he keeps blacking out).

A Reign Terror is approaching Frostvale. Odessa has a plan to trap it, by using you as bait to lure it over a pit covered with a thin layer of ice. She has a special ice-skating mecha prototype for you to use for the task. Once it is has fallen in the pit, it will be easier to attack the head.

While you defeat the Reign Terror, Shadow Claws has slipped into Frostvale and taken the Gift. You have to get it back or the universe is doomed! Fortunately, he is rather easy to defeat, but he vows to get revenge on you.

Dr Kringle has designed some rare mecha, weapons and costumes - inspired by the snowy season. You can get them from his house in Frostvale once he is safe from the Shadowscythe. My personal favourite is the Ice Princess DLX.
