The Citadel

High up in the mountains is a citadel where trouble that could affect all of Lore is brewing. The Grand Inquisitor has declared war on all users of magic and has sent an army of crusaders to eliminate them all.

Be warned: if you go near the Citadel, any soldiers that see you may attack on sight. For lower level characters it may help to work together.

Difficulty: Hard (Level 10+)

The Citadel

Part 1: The Inquisitors

Murry waits outside the citadel, in hiding. He escaped from the Grand Inquisitor's torture and needs your help. He asks you to help him get revenge by defeating 8 Inquisitor Guards, 4 Crusaders and 2 Captains.

After he's got his revenge, rescue 7 witches before they burn and steal 10 mana vacuums (used to drain wizards magic) from the Inquisitor's soldiers. Inside the mana vacuum the magic is condensed into an orb and becomes more powerful (Warlic knows how to do this too).

It seems the Grand Inquisitor doesn't really want to destroy all magic - he just wants the magic for himself! If you can get 5 mana amplifiers from the guards, Murry will make you a powerful staff.
