3rd Chaos Lord
Released: 24 July 2009
Vath was a DragonLord, but his Dragon Amulet and his pet dragon Stalagbite have been corrupted by chaos, and his mind is being chaorrupted too. He has come to Dwarfhold to look for Chaos Gemeralds - a rare crystal form of solid Chaos. The dwarves learnt a long time ago that cutting the gems tames them by giving them order, but Vath wants the raw, uncut gems. For what?

Part 1: The Inn Ternet
Snowbeard, a dwarf from Dwarfhold, has arrived at the Inn Ternet in the Pine Forest north of Swordhaven. He brings bad news - he fled from his
town because the Chaos DragonLord Vath and his draconians and droven have taken over and enslaved the townsfolk. Now Snowbeard plans to stay safe
and snug at the Inn with seven sisters - Nosy, Nursey, Pouty, Spazzy, Dizzy, Dreamy and Sniffly.
If you want to get through the Dwarfhold Gates you'll need a dwarven weapon created at the Heartstone Forge. Snowbeard will lend you his battleaxe, but you'll have to do some quests for him first, then for the llama farmer, then take Snowbeard the gold the llama farmer owes him. In the process, you'll earn reputation which will unlock shop items and quests in Dwarfhold.
Part 2: Dwarfhold
Equipped with Snowbeard's battleaxe, you head up the mountain path to the Dwarfhold Gate. You meet Elder Ironfist, a dwarf who is glad for
your assistance, but not very hopeful. He thought the city was the most fortified in Lore, but Chaos Lord Vath conquered the city in three hours
and forced the dwarves to mine gold and gems for him. Elder Ironfist asks you to help the dwarves by defeating the monsters who have invaded the
town. After completing all his quests, head towards the centre of the mountain.
There you meet the stone giant Geopetal who is the Spirit of the Mountain, although Vath has ordered her to protect
the Heartstone Forge. Behind the forge, dwarven slaves are crafting chaos weapons. To enter through the Upper City Gates you will need to gather
essential items so Geopetal can make a new key.
With your newly made key you try to open the gate to the Upper City, but Geopetal's key breaks! Your only chance now is to get a key from the monster Amadeus.
Part 3: Upper City
In the Upper City you meet Jorxlol, the leader of Bretheen D'irt, the most feared drow assassin clan in Dwarfhold. He is prepared to help you (in
secret) because Elder Ironfist will pay a hefty amount of gold to have Vath defeated, and Jorxlol wants Vath defeated because he is uniting the
drow which will reduce his shady business opportunities.
Jorxlol gives you a cape of invisibility and sends you to visit the gates of Vath's Keep to get more information about his plans. You overhear Vath and a drow talking. Vath wants more chaos gemeralds and is prepared to starve the dwarves to get them. You return to Jorxlol and he recommends taking out Vath's minions - drows and draconians and the terradactyl hatchery. Jorxlol runs out of disapoofing potion and needs some ingredients to make more before you enter Vath's Keep again.
Part 4: Dwarf Prison
It seems pretty easy getting past Vath's guards and you march up to Vath's chair - only to find it's a trap! Drakath warned him that a hero
would try to stop him summoning the second chaos beast - the Rock Roc. But it was Snowbeard the Dwarf that told him you were coming. Jorxlol
visits you in prison and returns your items the guards took and give you some advice: look for a dwarf called Mick Guyver.
Mick Guyver has heard about you and thanks you for your help - the dwarves are now almost ready to escape by digging their way out. However,
the drow guards got wind of the plan and blocked the escape route.
Mick Guyver needs you to collect some items so he can make some thermite to melt the prison bars. Warden Elfis has the keys to your shackles
and you'll need to defeat him to get the keys to freedom. Once the dwarves are free, find Mick the ingredients to make some explosives to blow
up the big rock blocking the exit.
Part 5: Vath's Keep
You escape to the tavern and meet Snowbeard. He was only pretending to be a traitor so that you could help the dwarves escape the prison. Mick
says you should sneak back into Vath's Keep. You find him just as he uses the Chaos Gemeralds to make the Rock Roc hatch. So you steal his
chaorrupted Dragon Amulet, jump off the cliff, land on Stalagbite's back and take off across the sky in pursuit of the Rock Roc (wow - what a
hero!).
Vath is not happy that you took his Dragon Amulet, but he still has the Legendary Sword of Dragon Control. He orders Stalagbite to drop you on the ground so the Rock Roc can finish you off.
